In this edition of our weekly SERG seminar we will have two speakers:

Tolgahan Bardakcı, who is visiting us for the day from the University of Antwerp. He will demonstrate how to use LLMs to amplify REST API test scripts. He will show a series of prompts they used to obtain strong and readable test cases that can be readily deployed in the DevOps build pipeline. We will see how we can potentially save days or even weeks of development effort.
Tolgahan is a PhD candidate and member of the special academic staff at the University of Antwerp. He focuses on test automation, back-end systems, REST APIs, and test amplification. Before his academic career, he was a senior software test engineer at an international company. He has over five years of hands-on experience in software testing across various systems, including banking, e-commerce, and smart factory applications. He worked on different types of software, such as web and mobile applications. Additionally, he assisted security engineers in understanding systems better, collaborated with them in security testing, and contributed to application security.
